stakeholders to gather and analyze data regarding a variety of issues and topics to develop data driven solutions to difficult business challenges.Responsibilities:Mines and analyzes data from organization’s databases to drive optimization and improvement of program development, evaluation, and business insightsAssesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data qualityStandardize operational procedures, reviewing code, analyzing, and interpreting datasets, and working with Git for version controlData analysis (Assist in analysis for evaluation, EDA)Performs exploratory data analysis to understand the organization’s dataInterprets results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independentlyDevelops analytic and predictive models for business needsCoordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomesCreate meaningful visualizations that communicate information about business questionsWork with data engineers/architects to create data pipelinesWork with data scientists to deploy sustainable solutionsDevelops compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to target audience(s)Proficient in: SQL, R, PythonQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer science, Informatics, or related fields1 – 1.5 years of educational, internship, or professional experience in statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc.)Confidence in working with Python, and/or, RWorking knowledge using SQL to manipulate and draw insights from large data setsExperience creating visualizations and storytelling understandingAbility to research and document findingsMission driven personality with a desire to
