Project Manager

Autoliv is currently looking to fill the role of a Project Manager at its Technical Center. The role entails directing all phases of program development by leading cross-functional teams while working with multiple departments within Autoliv and at customers. Applicant should be a self-directed, result-oriented professional willing to deliver results while meeting sales and project deadlines. This position requires building relationships with key stakeholders globally, inside Autoliv, as well as with external customer team members.In this role you will be responsible toLead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects using Autoliv development processesDrive accountability across engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, program management, and suppliersManage global project execution, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and strong performance outcomesOversee project scope, budget, schedule, and launch readiness to meet internal and customer milestonesServe as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customers on project-related mattersSupport business strategies, new business quoting, and technical presentations (design reviews, tollgates, workshops)Ensure projects follow the Autoliv Product Development System (APDS) and maintain accurate project trackingCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support successful product launches in a fast-paced environmentWhat Is RequiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field1–3 years of experience in Project Management / Program Management / EngineeringExperience or exposure to:Automotive industryNew Product Development (NPD) or product launchCross-functional teams in a matrix organizationStrong skills in communication, organization, and stakeholder managementAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentFlexibility to collaborate across global teams and time zonesPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)Experience with automotive safety systems / restraintsKnowledge of APQP, APDS, or similar development frameworksExposure to manufacturing processes and plant launchesBilingual or multilingual (Spanish, Japanese)Experience presenting to executive stakeholdersWe will be more than glad to chat with you about your experience and your career goals.In our international work setting, you will find a range of opportunities that are designed to enhance your career and personal development.
