This position monitors system applications, ensures systems run smoothly, and creates reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. This position sits within Regions' Technology department.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nOversees development and installation of new hardware and software\nInstalls and configures systems and other software\nTests installed software for malfunction detection\nIdentifies and resolves business systems issues\nDesigns and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems\nMeasures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems\nDevelops and implements strategies to improve systems\nMonitors and tests system performance\nMaintains full ownership of a process typically\nEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices\nMay act as a procedural expert\nMay lead the work of junior level associates\n\nThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field\nFive (5) years of experience\n\nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve a common objective\nAbility to conduct system analysis to detect issues with performance\nAbility to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges\nAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nKnowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization and software debugging\nStrong communication, analytical and problem solving skills\nStrong executional capabilities\nThorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems and how to integrate them\n\nThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future . Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
