They ensure senior-level management within the client organization knows the overall program status, including all relevant projects and their potential impact on higher-level organizational strategic vision.\nROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES\n· Oversee the development and execution of programs and be accountable for the quality and timely delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions.\n· Support the management of current operations by delivering products that facilitate the development of operational strategies.\n· Initiate, plan, execute, and close projects performed.\n· Manage contract execution day to day on a single project, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations.\n· Establish and maintain technical and financial reports demonstrating project progress.\n· Assist with organizing, facilitating, or participating in conferences, forums, symposia, events, and meetings.\n· Serve as point of contact with the client.\n· Perform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS and REQUIRED SKILLS:\n· Experience should fall in five or more of the following USCG’s eleven core missions:\no Search and Rescue (SAR)\no Counter Drug (CD)\no Alien Migrant Interdiction Operations (AMIO)\no Ports, Waterways, and Coastal Security (PWCS)\no Aids to Navigation (AToN)\no Living Marine Resources (LMR)\no Marine Safety (MS)\no Defense Readiness Operations (Def Ops)\no Marine Environmental Protection (MEP)\no Ice Operations (Ice Ops)\no Other Law Enforcement (OLE)\n· At least four years of experience as a primary IMS scheduler for major projects and Microsoft Project Expertise using IMS functionality.\n· Experience in acquisition process and strategic document management.\n· Documented experience performing integrated master scheduling (IMS) on multi-mission dollar acquisition efforts.\n· Project Management certification desired.\nEDUCATION\n· Over 15 years of experience and a Master’s degree in a relevant or related field such as a Master of Project Management or Business Administration OR;\n· Over 10 years of experience with a PhD.\nOTHER\n· Work Hours:\n· Req Type: Nationwide\n· Salary: Determined based on experience and education\n· Location: To be Defined at the Task Order level\n· Travel: Yes\nBENEFITS\nWe offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees to include paid holidays, paid time off, medical and dental.\nVECRA, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
