Located in Hammond, LA, FMS is committed to excellence in every facet of its operations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced CNC Machinist based in Hammond, LA. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, performing machining tasks such as cutting, drilling, and milling, and ensuring quality standards are met through inspections and adjustments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, troubleshooting machinery, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals effectively and efficiently. Qualifications Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining processesExperience with Milling and other precision machining techniquesEffective Quality Control skills for inspecting and ensuring the accuracy of partsFamiliarity with operating and maintaining various types of MachineryStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsAt least 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or related role is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
