The CMM Operator documents and reports non-conforming part geometry and dimensions and performs in-process/final inspections.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nUse engineered drawings to create programs and operate CMM equipment to measure parts per engineering specifications;\nDetermine quality (pass/fail) of manufactured parts based on dimensional inspection;\nComplete and maintain detailed and accurate dimensional inspection reports and analysis of inspection data;\nMaintain quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area;\nBe responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the measuring equipment, including calibration;\nAll other duties as assigned.\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
