As a forward-thinking, not-your-typical CPA firm, we have offices in Syracuse, Rochester, Watertown, and Ithaca, New York.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nClient Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) offers outsourced accounting services, including full-service CFO Advisory Services; controller, bookkeeping, vendor bill processing and payment, customer invoicing, payroll processing and tax reporting, and sales tax preparation. In this role, you will be a member of our CAAS group accountable for providing Senior Accountant-level accounting services, including processing payables and receivables, and various other accounting operations for assigned clients.\n\nBowers is unable to hire candidates with any current or requests for future sponsorships.\n\nRequirements:\n\nOversee and manage responsibilities of assigned CAAS transactional staff\n\nEnsure completeness and accuracy of all transaction processing performed by CAAS transaction staff\n\nPerform monthly accounting reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts for assigned clients\n\nManage month-end close for assigned clients\n\nAssist with development of financial budgets\n\nPrepare and analyze financial reporting\n\nAssist in preparing proposals for CAAS services\n\nParticipate in marketing events\n\nQualifications:\n\nB.S degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience\n\nMinimum of 5 years experience in accounting with 2 years supervisory experience\n\nExperience with QuickBooks preferred\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\n\nExcellent communicator\n\nHave a high level of attention to detail and accuracy\n\nStrong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills\n\nAble to manage priorities and workflow\n\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\n\nSalary: $80,000.00 - $100,000 DOE\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.\n\nOur salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
