Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.\r\nINX-West Chicago is seeking to fill an opening for \"Ink Technician - Mill Operators\" to manufacture high-quality printing ink. This a second shift position with working hours from 2:00pm-10:30pm. We will train the right candidate in the safe operation of all necessary equipment as well as how to engage in TPM activities. As a Mill Operator you will be responsible for:\r\n\r\n\r\nDemonstrating safe and effective operation of milling equipment\r\n\r\n\r\nHandling production support equipment: press out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts\r\n\r\n\r\nHandling packaging and labeling of product into various containers\r\n\r\n\r\nCleaning and maintain equipment to TPM Standards\r\n\r\n\r\nGetting involved in active project and work with team in TPM activities\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\nTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\r\n\r\nWork with R&D and Production Managers and use quantitative and qualitative research skills to assess new product success outcome and make recommendations for process improvements\r\nHave a High school diploma or (GED) desired; or 1-3 months related experience\r\nPossess good math and basic computer skills\r\nHave attention to detail\r\nBe reliable to work assigned shift\r\nBe flexible to work overtime as required\r\nWork side-by-side with the scheduling team, Quality Coordinator, and Preventative Maintenance team. Able to ensure that all products and services contribute to sustainability and greater good of the company\r\nDemonstrate exceptional attendance\r\nBe able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required\r\n\r\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:\r\n\r\nPrevious experience within the Ink Industry\r\nMill, and Pump filter industry background\r\nTwo or more years of related manufacturing experience\r\nA strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background\r\nForklift experience\r\n\r\nAdditional Information\r\nWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
