Storage Engineer

Storage Engineer Onsite Position / Minneapolis / Birmingham / Charlotte 6 Months Should have industry experience with Hitachi, Pure Storage and Client/Dell EMC gear location not a constraint as long as the person is willing to travel to Minneapolis (MN), Birmingham (AL), or Charlotte (NC) or is local to those cities or close to the above cities. Job Description · Standup and Configure Storage Arrays in preparation for migration off older arrays (e.g. Pure, Older Hitachi, EMC, etc.) to refreshed Hitachi and / or Client Power Flex arrays · Need to have experience in Storage Provisioning, Storage Configuration and Management/Monitoring setup and Configuration for Storage Arrays · This includes understanding Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and Array specific configuration tools like (Hitachi Ops Center, Client/EMC PowerFlex manager, and Pure Storage Purity) · Need to be comfortable with RAID, LUN Provisioning, Snapshot, Mirror/Clone and Replication tools · Need to be prepared to go through onboarding, training and acting as staff augmentation · Need to be local to the above locations or willing to travel Job Type: Contract Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour Benefits: Referral program Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Minneapolis, MN 55401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Should have industry experience with Hitachi, Pure Storage and Client/Dell EMC gear location not a constraint as long as the person is willing to travel to Minneapolis (MN), Birmingham (AL), or Charlotte (NC) or is local to those cities or close to the above cities.
