Duties include operating a commercial vehicle on roadways, loading and unloading the vehicle and processing appropriate paperwork.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES\nDeliver assigned orders to customer accounts in a safe, timely and efficient manner\nMaintain route expectations and standards set by managers\nRead invoices and manifests to ensure appropriate products are delivered to each customer in a designated timeframe\nAssemble customer orders and place product in storage or account specific designated areas\nWork safely at all times and notify the company of any safety related issues immediately\nComplete a pre and post trip inspection of the truck and communicate any needed repairs to your supervisor.\nMaintain good communication and relations with internal and external customers\nProvide continuous improvement feedback and communication to management\nComply with company safety standards, Department of Transportation regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations and warehouse delivery policies and procedures\nEnsure load is secured to prevent breakage\nComplete any necessary paperwork related to deliveries\nAssist with effectively managing returns processing\nKeep interior and exterior of truck clean and organized\nAssist in warehouse when needed and not out on delivery’s\nMay be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business\nAble to maintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled.\nAdditional duties as assigned by management\nOvertime as required\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nUS Person Status due to Export Control\nMotor Vehicle Record (MVR) free of violation, accidents or other infractions for the last 5 years\nAbility to meet insurance requirements.\nAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations\nAbility to analyze information and use logic to address issues\nMust have ability to read and write and interpret maps and road signs\nMust have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems\nDriver does not need CDL experience but must be comfortable driving a company provided 24ft Curtain Truck\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nValid driver’s license required\nThree to six-month delivery driver experience preferred\nManufacturing experience a plus\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
