Nurse Practitioner | Pediatrics - Critical Care Location: Pennsylvania Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are actively seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing on Aug 1, 2026. This dynamic role involves 12-hour shifts, either AM or PM, within a specialized Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for critical patient care, managing 4-8 patients, and performing procedures such as arterial and central venous line placement, and endotracheal intubation. Responsibilities and Duties Experience with arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement Endotracheal intubation Lumbar punctures Provide care in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Manage a patient load of 4-8 per Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Work collaboratively with 4 APPs during day shifts and 3 APPs during night shifts Additional Information Board Certifications required: Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine EMR system: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
