Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting. This role requires proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound, ensuring accurate imaging to support clinical diagnosis and patient care.Responsibilities Perform general ultrasound examinations for adult and pediatric patients. Conduct vascular ultrasound procedures as required. Ensure proper patient positioning and image acquisition for diagnostic accuracy. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment. Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Accurately document and record imaging results in EPIC system. Provide compassionate patient care and clear procedural instructions. QualificationsRequirements: Minimum one (1) year of General Registered Ultrasound experience. Experience in an acute care setting is required. Proficiency in general ultrasound (adult and pediatric) and vascular imaging. Candidates must be available for in-person interviews (no virtual interviews). Assignment is expected to be extended. Education: Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including Military Training if applicable).Hours Per Week: 40.00Hours Per Day: 8.00Days Per Week: 5.00Shift Time: Day Shift 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, alternating weekends required - Weekends/Holidays required - Training will be for 2 weeks, from 9a-5p, including the EPIC classLocation: 7901 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY, 11373Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting.
