Director Supported Employment Programs
Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will provide leadership and supervision to a dynamic team.
Duties
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
1. Plans and coordinates the activities for programs or projects; develops work plans and develops schedules to accomplish program goals.
2. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness in meeting established objectives of program and clientele; develops and implements procedural improvements.
3. Hires and supervises staff to provide quality service to program participants; conducts and/or facilitates staff training and development programs; promotes cooperative team efforts among staff and with other SE Works departments.
4. Provides direction to staff on complex technical or procedural issues; makes or reviews decisions; reviews case files.
5. Coordinates the activities of the program/project with other community partners and funders. Serves as agency liaison to multiple partners.
6. Assists Director of Finance in preparing and updating budgets; manages and authorizes/reviews limited program expenditures; gathers and compiles data and prepares reports.
7. Conducts outreach activities; ; provides program information to the public, community groups and agencies; prepares flyers, brochures.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree / Bachelors preferred
A minimum of five (5) years of related experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills to perform the responsibilities of this position.
Experience working effectively with eligibility requirements, documentation and related compliance requirements.
Experience hiring, training, supervising, developing and supporting staff.
Experience with budgets and budget development
Ability to prepare clear, accurate and concise reports in a timely manner.
Strong computer skills.
Experience gathering, interpreting and reporting data.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
