Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who shall be responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms for securing access to critical HPC system resources through robust permission management, ensuring compliance with the Agency's security policies and industry standards.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nSeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI\nProficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes\nBasic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management\nExperience implementing Access Controls and permissions including RBAC and HBAC in a Linux environment\nExperience developing software solutions using the Python programming languages\nFamiliar with IAM solutions such as KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos\nExperience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software components\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins\nExperience with Git Source Control System\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nFamiliar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
