This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with roll-to-roll coating, printing, laminating, and converting operations while partnering with experienced engineers on process optimization, equipment reliability, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. If you're energized by solving complex manufacturing challenges, analyzing process data, and driving operational excellence on the production floor, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport and improve roll-to-roll coating, printing, laminating, and converting processes.\nAnalyze production data to identify opportunities for process optimization, quality improvement, waste reduction, and increased productivity.\nPerform testing, experimentation, and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment.\nTroubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.\nCreate engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and project documentation.\nDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.\nLead or support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiative\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Technical teams to drive continuous improvement.\nAssist with process audits, field inspections, and startup activities for new equipment and manufacturing processes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.\nExperience in roll-to-roll manufacturing, coating, printing, laminating, converting, or similar continuous web-processing environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and utilize process data.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, process troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.\nExperience with pressure-sensitive adhesive manufacturing or coating operations.\nWorking knowledge of CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.\nExperience with CAD software, engineering drawings, and P&IDs.\nFamiliarity with web handling systems, tension control, coating equipment, drying systems, and converting operations.\nExposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
