Your primary responsibility will be managing a pipeline of leads to increase the number of schools regularly using CodeHS on both free and Pro versions. You'll be working closely with teachers, school administrators, and school districts.\n\nResponsibilities\nOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through demos, proposals, follow-up, and close\nBuild relationships with teachers, school administrators, and district leaders to understand their computer science goals and help them adopt CodeHS\nCommunicate with prospects through email, phone, video calls, and demos to advocate the benefits of CodeHS\nIdentify and prioritize high-potential schools and districts within your territory through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and strategic account research\nCultivate interest among teachers using the free version of CodeHS and turn strong classroom usage into paid opportunities\nManage a strong pipeline, maintain accurate CRM data, and keep clear next steps for all active prospects\nHit quarterly and annual sales targets while accurately forecasting new business opportunities\nWork closely with Customer Success, Account Management to share customer needs and ensure smooth handoffs after deals close\nRepresent CodeHS at conferences, webinars, and district meetings as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor for computer science education\nRequirements\nYou are a great communicator\nOrganized and detail oriented\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n2-5 years of professional sales experience\nEdtech sales experience a bonus\nNo experience coding is required, but you should have an interest in learning\n8-12% travel to conferences and customer sites\n\nYou're a great fit for this position if you are passionate about improving education, building strong relationships, going the extra mile to solve problems creatively, and working at the edge to use technology to improve education.\n\nLocation\n\nFull Office - This role is a 5 days a week office role in the CodeHS Chicago Office in River North.\n\nCompensation\nTotal Compensation including Base Salary and Commissions:\n$85,000 - $115,000\n\nCompany Values\nEncourage Teaching and Learning\nCodeHS is about providing excellent teaching and learning opportunities in computer science for students all over the world.
