Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the carshell or train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles.\r\nFunctions and responsibilities Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring.\r\nMust have vast knowledge with electrical component plug assemblies.\r\nInstalls, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery.\r\nReads electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints.\r\nTransfers primary power from one power source to another\r\nInstalls conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hookup for primary power source.\r\nMay do other trades work incidental to electrical work.\r\nCapable of process improvement.\r\nCollaborate with management any issues that may arise with project.\r\nTraining and Eduction Required High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.\r\nQualifications and Requirements Two or more years of related experience.\r\nSafety Requirements Shall report all injuries and illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident\r\nShall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor\r\nShall comply with all CAF USA safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures\r\nShall wear all required Personal Protective Equipment that is communicated and supplied to them\r\nShall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times\r\nShall attend all CAF USA required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work\r\nShall NOT operate any CAF USA equipment, forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts until certified to do so\r\nThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.\r\nWe prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, veteran status or any other legally protected status.\r\nWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
