The successful candidate must have 2-3 year's experience.Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards.Responsible for assembling and soldering high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub assemblies in accordance with industry standards such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610.The candidate should have working knowledge of Operating soldering equipment, microscopes, and other assembly tools.Must be able to read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.Education and Required Skills\r\n- High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in PCB or electronics assembly, preferably in a Hi-Rel or relative environment.\r\n- Proficiency in soldering to IPC J-STD- A-610 Class 3 standards.\r\n- Certification in IPC J-ATD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.\r\n- Experience in working under a microscope and magnification and with fine-pitch components.\r\n- Familiarity with ESD protection procedures.\r\n- Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.\r\n- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.\r\nStrong computer and written skills is a PLUS, willing to train an enthusiastic applicant willing to learn a new skill.\r\nSalary Range is 54K-58K annum depending on experience\r\n100% on-site\r\nEOE/Disability/Veteran\r\nFEI offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, and a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match in company stock.\r\nWe also provide a very generous paid time off policy, along with 11 paid holidays.\r\nIn addition, we operate on a 9/80 work schedule, which gives employees every other Friday off.
