Store Director","description":"The Assistant Store Director is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. They are responsible for supervising the efficient, effective, safe, legal and profitable operation of the entire store in the absence of the Store Director. They coordinate human relations for the total store and ensures execution of all policies and procedures on a timely basis.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nWhen a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest\n\nResponsible for maintaining good atmosphere, spirit, and morale throughout the store\n\nResponsible for channeling communication to all departments and from departments to Director\n\nResponsible for identifying areas of opportunity throughout the entire store\n\nAssists with implementation of new programs and directives throughout the store in a timely manner\n\nAssists in the forecasting and implementation of programs to achieve volume and labor goals with all departments and evaluating the results of sales and labor performance throughout the store\n\nJointly coordinates with Store Director (and Talent Relations Manager, where applicable) fair team member wages and promotions\n\nPrepares work schedules, assigns individuals, and delegates authority to appropriate personnel.\n\nActs as Safety Coordinator and trainer of proper claims procedures and policies for the entire store, in stores where Talent Relations Manager is not present\n\nEvaluates overages or deficiencies in weekly sales and labor performance and identifies plans to overcome challenges\n\nJointly manages donation budget with the Store Director\n\nDevelops community relations and builds goodwill for the store and company\n\nCoordinates personnel reprimands with Department Managers, in stores where Talent Relations Manager is not present\n\nResponsible for safeguarding, controlling and monitoring all store assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for control of assets\n\nPerforms other duties as requested or required by upper management\n\nKey Requirements:\n\nMust be 18 years of age or older\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n\nMinimum of one year experience in store management or equivalent\n\nThe Assistant Store Director is required to work a minimum of 48 hours per week. This will involve multiple opening, closing and day shifts depending on the store needs\n\nAbility to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner\n\nMust possess leadership skills, maturity, technical skills, and proven operations track record\n\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push and pull up to 100 lbs, and stand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)\n\nPerform all other physical aspects of the job to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking\n\nKnowledge of company policies\n\nAbility to forecast sales volume and product needs for ordering and scheduling\n\nMust possess technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, and Email).\n\nAbility to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner\n\nMust maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification\n\nBilingual English/Spanish a plus\n\nAbility to receive phone calls at home\n\nMust be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays\n\nMust attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays\n\nMust be able to transfer to another store within the area\n\nAbility to function as a team member and get along with others\n\nThis job description is intended to provide a high-level of general requirements for this position.
