Your technical proficiency and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional service and support to our customers.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cables, and low-voltage electrical wiring in commercial and industrial settings\nPerform fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to ensure high-speed data transmission\nTroubleshoot and repair network equipment such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, VoIP systems, and telecommunication hardware using diagnostic tools\nRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs\nConduct network wiring, cable termination, and equipment troubleshooting to maintain system integrity\nUtilize telecommunications testing equipment including ohmmeters, RF testers, and diagnostic tools for system verification\nSupport the installation of CCTV cameras, access control systems, and other communication systems while adhering to safety standards\nQualifications\nProven experience as a Data Cable Technician or Service Technician with a strong background in telecommunications or IT infrastructure\nKnowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet, LAN/WAN configurations, and network installation procedures\nFamiliarity with fiber splicing techniques, fiber optic systems installation, and testing methods\nHands-on experience with telephony systems such as Avaya or similar VoIP platforms\nAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively\nUnderstanding of AC/DC electrical systems, NEC standards for low-voltage wiring, and structured cabling best practices\nStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred; willingness to travel for field service assignments\nJoin us if you're passionate about building reliable communication networks!
