Join our dynamic team and help us build the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) that will redefine underwater operations.\nWhat You'll Do Own cross‑functional coordination between the program and internal support groups (production, platform tooling), shifting the team from reactive to proactive interfacing\nEstablish and maintain configuration management practices that enable rapid iteration without sacrificing rigor\nLead requirements generation, analysis, and verification – finding the middle ground between structure and speed, with strong justification for any technical adjustments\nDrive qualification testing, design‑build‑test (DBT), integration verification, and acceptance testing activities\nPerform root cause and corrective action analysis for issues found during integration and test; adjust manufacturing test procedures as needed\nMaintain vehicle architecture documentation, interface definitions, and traceability across the product lifecycle\nWork across business lines and product teams to build consensus, minimize silos, and align on shared objectives\nSupport sea operations, strategic technical planning, risk management, and proposal efforts as needed\nRequired Qualifications 7+ years in systems engineering, integration & test, or platform architecture\nElectromechanical hardware experience; able to troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and software boundaries\nDemonstrated skill in root cause and corrective action methodologies\nSoftware literacy: can read and analyze code (Rust, Python, or C), understand dependencies, and engage in systematic analysis\nExperience working within requirements frameworks—with the judgment to adapt them and the discipline to justify changes\nStrong cross‑functional collaborator: builds consensus, understands others’ processes, compromises between competing priorities\nExcellent communication and organizational skills; brings structure to ambiguous, fast‑paced environments\nEligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance\nAbility to travel ~10%\nPreferred Qualifications Experience with qualification testing, DBT cycles, or configuration management for products transitioning to production\nBackground in robotics, autonomous systems, medical devices, or high‑volume electromechanical products\nDefense experience is welcome but not required\nProficiency with data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, R, SQL) or requirements management software (e.g., JAMA)\nExperience with Linux, command line interfaces, and software debugging\nSalary Range $166,000 - $220,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full‑time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
