Instructional designers analyze training needs, conduct job task analyses, create meaningful learning objectives, map learning objectives to job tasks, select delivery systems, develop effective learning strategies, and conduct level three levels of evaluations; Level #1 - course evaluation provided while the training is in session ( good, bad, or indifferent); Level#2 - assessment of knowledge as compared to the course objective; and, Level #3 - assessment of the job skills application on the job.. Furthermore, instructional designers may help ensure alignment between identified job tasks, learning objectives, and assessment items.
