Sales Development Representative | SDRLOCATION: Remote / FlexibleTYPE: Full-TimeTEAM: Sales & PartnershipsThe OpportunityWe are hiring our first Sales Development Representatives to build the top of the funnel for the entire Exactius growth engine. You'll work directly with the founders and the GTM leadership team to identify, research, and engage the consumer companies, and recurring-revenue founders that should become our next partners.Every deal we close starts upstream with you.You will operate as a one-person AI-native prospecting engine - building target account lists, researching companies, drafting outreach, and running multi-channel sequences that would normally require a team of three.You'll lean on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot to multiply your output. If a tool can save you 5-10 hours a week, you find it, learn it, and deploy it.You will work across four businesses: Exactius Growth (scaling companies), Castle Roads (non-dilutive growth capital for recurring revenue businesses), and two stealth ventures we are launching this year.You will be measured on pipeline, not activity. Not dials. Not "touches." Pipeline that converts.This is the perfect role for someone who is a builder at heart, has strong written communication and judgment, and uses modern tools (including generative AI) to deliver results end to end.You will work closely with the founders and head of GTM. We move fast, we measure everything, and we use AI as a core operating advantage.What You Will Actually Do (Week 1 and Beyond)We want to be transparent. Here is what this role looks like day-to-day:Build Lists: Open your tools, identify the highest-fit companies in our ICP, and add them to the pipeline. You build the list.Research: Every outbound is researched. You know what the company sells, what's changing in their business, who the right person is, and why an Exactius partnership matters to them this quarter. AI scales the research. Your judgment makes it land.Write Like a Human: Each touch is personalized, sharp, and earns the next reply. If you couldn't tell who your email is to, it doesn't go out.Run Multi-Channel Sequences: Email, LinkedIn, phone, custom video, looms. You meet prospects where they are and make every touch sharper than the last.Book Meetings That Close: It's qualified meetings that turn into pipeline that turns into closed partnerships. We track the whole funnel and you own it end to end.Keep HubSpot Immaculate: Every prospect, every touch, every disposition logged. Leadership shouldn't have to ask you what happened– the CRM tells them.Build AI Workflows: Continuously design, test, and improve prospecting workflows that let one person produce the output of a team of three. This is how you scale before we hire.Who You AreExperience & Skills2 to 4 years in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role — ideally at a B2B services, consulting, agency, or high-growth company. You've made cold calls, written cold emails, and booked meetings with people who didn't know who you were. You have a track record of hitting and exceeding quota.Proven fluency with modern tools: You actively use generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in your daily prospecting workflow. You can demonstrate specific examples of how your toolkit has dramatically multiplied your output. This is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have.Sharp written communication: You write like a human. Your outbound emails don't look like every other SDR's. You can write a three-line cold email that earns a meeting and a thirty-line LinkedIn message that lands a founder reply.HubSpot proficiency (or equivalent CRM): You know how to log activities, manage sequences, build views, and stay organized. You don't need someone to tell you to update the CRM.Data-driven: You track your own metrics. You know your reply rate, your meeting-set rate, your show rate, and your meeting-to-pipeline conversion. You experiment. You optimize.Highly organized and systems-minded: You have a system for everything — your day, your week, your follow-ups, your research. You don't drop the ball.The DNABuilder Mentality: You don't just execute someone else's playbook. You build the playbook. When something works, you systematize it. When it doesn't, you kill it.High Agency: You don't wait for leads to be handed to you. You go find them. You don't wait for the perfect template — you draft one, send it, and improve from the reply data.Ownership Mindset: You care about the number, not the activity.
