This part-time role includes performing customized therapeutic and body massage sessions, incorporating techniques such as Shiatsu and other modalities as appropriate to client needs and treatment plans. The therapist will conduct thorough consultations, review client health histories, maintain accurate treatment records, and make clear recommendations for ongoing care. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring a calm, professional environment. The therapist will also support client education, assist with scheduling and follow-up, and collaborate with the team to provide an excellent client experience.Qualifications Strong client-focused skills, including excellent Customer Service and the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with a diverse client base.Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques, with the ability to tailor sessions to individual client needs and goals.Experience or training in Shiatsu or related bodywork modalities, with a commitment to safe, effective application of techniques.Ability to support Stress Management for clients through appropriate techniques, calm presence, and thoughtful treatment planning.Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Maryland, with up-to-date liability insurance and adherence to all legal and ethical standards.Ability to maintain a clean, organized treatment space and follow strict sanitation, safety, and confidentiality protocols.Reliable, punctual, and able to work part-time, including some evenings or weekends as needed.Prior spa, wellness center, or clinical experience is preferred; interest in skincare or facial-focused practices is a plus.
