This individual oversees student enrollment, member retention, customer service, community outreach, events, and daily operations while supporting the Chief Instructor in building an exceptional martial arts school.This is a leadership position with significant opportunity for professional growth.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Member ExperienceCreate an outstanding first impression for every prospective family.Build strong relationships with students and parents.Ensure every family receives exceptional customer service.Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional atmosphere.Help develop future student leaders.Enrollment & SalesConduct introductory appointments with prospective families.Recommend programs that best fit each student's goals.Guide families through the enrollment process.Achieve monthly enrollment and retention goals.Follow up with leads through phone, text, email, and CRM systems.OperationsManage daily front office operations.Maintain accurate student records in Spark Membership software.Process memberships, upgrades, renewals, and program registrations.Coordinate testing, tournaments, camps, and special events.Assist with merchandise sales and inventory management.Community Outreach & MarketingRepresent Samurai ATA at community events.Build relationships with local schools and businesses.Assist with social media content and marketing campaigns.Coordinate referral programs and special promotions.Help grow the school's presence throughout Cedar Rapids.Team LeadershipSupport instructors and leadership team members.Assist in training front desk and volunteer staff.Promote a positive, team-oriented culture.Lead by example through professionalism and integrity.QualificationsWe're looking for someone who is:Passionate about helping children and familiesHighly organized and detail-orientedExcellent at communication and relationship buildingComfortable speaking with new people every dayPositive, coachable, and driven to growAble to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProfessional in appearance and conductComfortable using computers and CRM softwarePreferred ExperienceSales or customer serviceLeadership or managementEvent planningMarketing or community outreachMartial arts experience is a plus but not required.
