{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b172fc433d9b1ca22c16e733","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b172fc433d9b1ca22c16e733","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b172fc433d9b1ca22c16e733","title":"2nd shift Quality Control","description":"PriorityWorkforce is hiring!\nWe offer long-term, full-time, weekly pay and temp-to-hire job opportunities!\nWe are a Food company, hiring for Quality Control in the city of Commerce and Los Angeles, CA!\n*Must have Quality Control experience*\nJob title: Quality Control\nJob location: Commerce and Los Angeles (Near the dodger stadium)\nSchedule: Monday to Friday\n2nd shift (Commerce): 1:00pm\n2nd shift (Los Angeles / Near Dodger Stadium): 1:30pm\nPay rate: $19.50\nJob description:\nTake the lead in the inspection and testing of finished product and packaging against defined specifications according to the frequency, machine distribution, and cycle times per machine as instructed in the Quality Control Inspection SOPs.\nSupport the supervisor in establishing inspection protocols and assessing/developing the performance of the inspectors.\nPartner with Production Management to ensure that CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) are being completed.\nUse Root Cause Analysis to determine what caused production errors when a product does not meet product specification and/or quality checks and coordinate with Production Management for efficient and timely implementation of corrective actions.\nMaintain records in accordance with the GMP/HACCP program and ensure that all team members are adhering to all pre-requisite programs, Food Safety and Food Quality Plans.\nGive immediate support to QC inspectors in the event of an illness, shorthanded staff, or problems with production.\nConduct scale calibrations and troubleshoot inspection machines in the lab or at the operator stations, informing Plant managers of any irregular readings or discrepancies found with the scales.\nVerify that all records and specification sheets are maintained in accordance with identifiable food and organic programs as well as private label requirements.\nVerify Hold and Release forms are being properly completed and that any final disposition and/or corrective action has been completed.
