The Associate, Development Operations manages timely quality control ensuring accurate data within WETA Membership and PBS News Fundraising systems. The position collaborates closely with internal clients and external vendors to trouble-shoot errors and issues that arise with donation information and member or donor account management. Reports to Director, Data Strategy & Management.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nServe as resource for all fundraising teams regarding database operations alongside and under guidance of the Director.\nReview and correct donor records entered by internal staff, vendors, and online donor portals.\nOversee completion of all quality control procedures, including weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc files.\nProvide support for Audience Services and Donor Care staff for donor record management work as needed.\nCross functional backup for all Data Strategy and Development Services staff members.\nAssist with revenue reconciliation needs.\nServe as lead for donation adjustments when requested by Audience Services or Donor Care staff members.\nEdit and maintain documentation for all Data Entry/Processing procedures.\nAssure completion of volunteer and event data.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nCORE COMPETENCIES:\nMS Excel, MS Visio, experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL\nADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge of fundraising database technology and ability to apply it to fundraising development and operations support.\nExperience with CRM systems such as ROI Solutions Revolution CRM, Engaging Networks or equivalent systems preferred.\nExperienced research and analytical skills.\nExcellent time management and organizational skills Meticulous approach to work and keen eye for details.\nAbility to interact with a wide variety of people using diplomacy, tact, and discretion.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.\nDemonstrated ability to successfully perform duties in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.\nStrong understanding and application of computer technology to efficiently accomplish work using Microsoft Office programs.\nEDUCATION:\nAA (2-Year College)\nLOCATION:\nWETA and NewsHour Productions are Washington, DC established media and news organizations. We are a largely local workforce based out of the Campbell Place office in Arlington, VA. WETA and NewsHour Productions value employee flexibility when possible.
