Job DescriptionCardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Packaging Operators for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a key role in our client's manufacturing operations, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and meet strict quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience in regulated production environments.Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts include:1st shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm2nd shift: 4:30pm - 1:00amRequirements of the Job:Operate packaging machinery and equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs)Monitor production lines to ensure proper function and product qualityPerform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment, including PLC systemsAssist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of productsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP standardsFollow all FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and safety protocolsUse hand tools to perform minor equipment adjustments and repairsOperate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as neededAccurately document production activities and report any issues promptlyRequired Qualifications:Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with PLCs, automation systems, or production equipment is a plusKnowledge of FDA, CGMP, or regulated manufacturing environments preferredHigh attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasksStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work overtime as neededAbout Cardinal Staffing:At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
