This role combines data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence development to transform operational and manufacturing data into trusted, actionable insights.\nWorking closely with the Data Architect and business stakeholders, this individual will develop scalable data pipelines, manage Microsoft Fabric data environments, and create impactful Power BI dashboards that support informed decision-making across the organization. Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric & Power BI:\nData Engineering & Pipeline Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that extract data from operational technology (OT) systems, including historians, SCADA systems, PLCs, and OPC UA sources.\nBuild robust ingestion pipelines that support both batch and near real-time data processing into Microsoft Fabric.\nLand, transform, cleanse, and model enterprise data within OneLake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse environments.\nOptimize data pipelines for reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.\nBusiness Intelligence & Analytics\nDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.\nDevelop optimized DAX measures and data models that support self-service analytics across the organization.\nEstablish reporting standards, visualization best practices, and reusable reporting assets.\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate business questions into actionable analytics.\nContinuously improve reporting capabilities to support strategic and operational decision-making.\nMicrosoft Fabric Platform Development\nWork closely with the Data Architect to expand and enhance the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.\nDevelop and maintain Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, and Pipelines.\nSupport enterprise data governance initiatives, including metadata management, security, lineage, and access controls.\nAssist with implementation of Microsoft Purview and other governance tools as needed.\nEnsure enterprise data solutions follow Microsoft Fabric best practices and architectural standards.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with IT, manufacturing, operations, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for leveraging enterprise data.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nSupport data integration projects involving manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and other enterprise applications.\nDocument technical solutions, data models, and pipeline architecture to support long-term maintainability.\nPromote a culture of data quality, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.\n\nWhat We're Looking For in a Senior Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric & Power BI:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).\nFive (5) or more years of experience designing and supporting enterprise data solutions.\nExpertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and related platform components.\nAdvanced experience developing Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and DAX calculations.\nStrong SQL skills and experience designing relational and dimensional data models.\nExperience building ETL/ELT data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar technologies.\nExperience integrating data from operational technology (OT) systems including historians, SCADA systems, PLCs, OPC UA, or similar industrial data sources.\nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred\nExperience working within manufacturing, industrial automation, or process manufacturing environments.\nExperience with Microsoft Purview or other enterprise data governance platforms.\nExperience supporting ERP integrations and enterprise business applications.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure.\nExperience implementing
