Tech Etch operates facilities in Plymouth, MA, Fall River, MA, and Litchfield, MN.\n\nABOUT THE JOB\nThe Chemical Handler is responsible for the makeup of chemical baths as well as chemical additions to the tanks. They also change out filters, anodes and order/receive in chemicals.\n\nSHIFT: 1st Shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMakeup chemical baths as required by the Preventative Maintenance schedule and Labman program.\nCheck tanks for proper labelling requirements.\nMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.\nOrder chemistry based on a signal card system. Safely stores chemical deliveries in the appropriate areas.\nWork with minimum supervision.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTechnical Capacity.\nLearning Orientation.\nStrong time management skills with attention to details.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nThoroughness.\n\nWork Conditions & Physical Demands\nClimbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.\nHeavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nThe worker is subject to hazards.
