Job Title:Regional Executive Director
Department:Operations
Reports to:Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Clinical Services
Job Summary:
Organize and oversee the daily facility operations, clinical department, and medical department, of up to 5 regional facilities. The Regional Executive Director ensures all aspects of clinical care and programming are aligned with evidence based, best practices, and complies with all applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. The Regional Executive Director oversees and monitors the quality of the environment of care, maintenance of the physical facility, and completion of all compliance tasks/responsibilities. The Regional Executive Director is also responsible for managing the operating budgets, key performance indicators and meeting the goals set forth by the company. The ideal candidate has a proven successful track record and experience in a leadership role within a similar setting, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and an in-depth knowledge of addiction and mental health treatment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Day to day oversight and coordination of care team
Manage clinic capacity and work schedules
Work with central functions to ensure appropriate documentation, adherence to policies, and communication
Assist and collaborate with the regional BD team to foster and maintain strong, local, mutually beneficial relationships
Supervise and collaborate with Clinical, Operational and Medical leadership teams at all respective locations to ensure best practices are implemented and/or adhered to.
Conduct biweekly supervision meetings with leadership at all respective locations
Provide opportunities for professional/personal growth and development
Foster a teaming environment/culture of collaboration, communication, positive energy, and compassionate support for patients, peers, and oneself
Ensure program financial viability through review of revenue and cost control mechanisms and communicate such findings to Senior Leadership
Accountable for achieving targeted key metrics for respective facilities and the organization established by the Executive Leadership team.
Overall responsibility for state licensing compliance by ensuring program and facility compliance, as well as employment record compliance.
Responsible and accountable for managing direct reports including: Preparation and presentation of performance evaluations, setting objectives, compensation recommendations, training and development, disciplinary actions, interviews, staff selection, and monitoring adherence to company and department policies, procedures, and practices.

Education and Experience:
Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or Public Health Administration or related field
Licensed Clinician: Psy D, PhD, LICSW, LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LCDC (highly desirable)
5 7 years of progressively increasing leadership experience, in the behavioral health, social work or healthcare industry
Clinical supervisory experience preferred
Understanding of the disease model of addiction and evidence-based treatment
Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; judgement; and decision-making ability
Familiarity with DSM and ASAM Dimensions and level of care criteria
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain emotional maturity to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stressors
