DISCLOSURE: This role is not for the light hearted!It will involve your continuous engagement through problem solving, critical thinking and optimizing how we look at operational excellence.We make and distribution millions of plant based bars nationally.Our team is like family and we're looking for another member to strategize and carry out operations to support scale until an exit.Pre-qualifiers: Great with excel, supply chain or operations experience, great attitude, ambitious, hungry to grow and learn.ACCOUNTABILITIESAssist the founder and CEO in carrying out day to day operations; product development, QC, freight, fulfillment, and co-man/3PL relationships.KPI’S AND DELIVERABLESQuarterly COGS TrackingScheduling production with our co-man in ChicagoTrack inventory and keep finished product in stockMaintain a healthy relationship with all ingredient and packaging vendorsUNFI + KEHE: build out distribution relationships and manage incoming PO's.Stay in Stock:Amazon>Distribution>Shopify>3rd party ecomm (order of priority)Monitor PO’s with on time and in full fulfillmentMaintain a >95% fill rateSchedule pickups and deliveries with freight coordinatorLogistics & Vendor ManagementMaintain raw material quality standardsMaintain healthy freight ratesReceiving PO’s and scheduling freight OTIFPushing back PO’s if no inventory on hand to avoid late feesDiscerning whether to book LTL/FTL based on pricing and delivery dateHold 3PL accountable for fulfillment within 5-8 business daysManage claims for damaged product in transitConduct quarterly cost and freight analysis (LTL & FTL, storage, small parcel)Co-manQuarterly cost and performance analysis (tolling, fees, throughput).Transition to USDA Organic by June 1, 2025.Migrate to turn-key by March 1, 2025Attend events deemed critical to business by MikeSecondary co-man (complete onboarding)Secondary suppliers (ingredients and packaging)Secondary support – Pao cross-trained on all redundant tasksIf you have the tenacity to step into the fire and strategic insight to strategize growth at scale, I strongly encourage you to apply.-Mike TrupianoFounder & CEO
