You'll work across the full technology stack to build scalable, secure, and user-centered solutions while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and government stakeholders in an Agile environment.Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications and APIs.Build responsive, accessible, and reusable user interface components using modern front-end frameworks.Develop and maintain secure backend services, business logic, and RESTful APIs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps best practices.Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.Ensure applications comply with federal accessibility, security, and quality standards.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and application architecture.Requirements:What you’ll bring:4+ years of experience in full stack developmentStrong experience with JavaScript, React, Ruby on Rails, and REST APIsFamiliarity with modern CI/CD practices and Git workflowsExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Understanding of accessibility best practices and web standards (WCAG, Section 508)Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environmentsBonus QualificationsPrior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or federal agenciesFamiliarity with JSON Schema Form libraries (e.g., react-jsonschema-form)Knowledge of VA.gov architecture and building forms on VA.govExperience with automated testing and 508 scanning tools (e.g., Axe, pa11y)Requirements:Must be a US Citizen and able to work domesticallyMust be able to attain low-level security clearanceEducation: Bachelor’s degreeWilcore is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants based on race, religion, color, disability, medical condition, legally protected genetic information, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity or expression, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), age, veteran status or other legally protected characteristics.
