Must have thorough understanding of relational databases, SQL, XML and web services (SOAP/REST)\nInterview Information - Ph and in person\nRequired:\nProject Delivery and Operations\n- Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise-level Appian based BPM applications.\n- Translate business process software requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions.\n- Deliver projects in either Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies, as project dictates.\n- Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies such as DB2 Active Directory and the internal -systems in the enterprise.\n- Design and implement complex integrations with downstream and upstream applications\n- Design and implement custom plugins using Java framework\n- Have good knowledge on Appian Infrastructure\n- Develop and use a library of reusable Appian components that can be leveraged in the enterprise.\n- Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM and Java based plug-ins development.\nTechnical Leadership\n- Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments.\n- Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.\n- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.\n- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.\n- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to ramp up new development team members.\nProduction Support\n- Participate in on-call production support rotation.\n- Jump into troubleshooting sessions if junior developers are unable to resolve production issues, and drive issues to resolution.\n- Partner with IT Shared Services partners to resolve production issues.\nQualifications\n5+ years’ experience in Information Technology.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, and production support of Appian BPM applications.
