Data Engineer
Position: Data EngineerCompensation: $70 - $82 /hourLocation: Overland Park, KansasInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team!Join a dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer, where you'll design and build scalable data solutions within a Microsoft Fabric environment. This is a hands-on and strategic role, perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, supportive team. Key Responsibilities & Duties:Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure toolsDesign scalable data solutions across Lakehouse and SQL-based environmentsWrite and optimize complex SQL (stored procedures, queries, performance tuning)Implement data quality checks and validation within pipelinesPartner with analytics and business teams to translate needs into technical solutionsApply modern data modeling approaches (e.g., Medallion-style architectures)Support CI/CD and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and GitRequired Qualifications & Experience: 5–7+ years in data engineering or similar roleStrong SQL Server and T-SQL experienceExperience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data FactoryProficiency in Python (PySpark preferred)Understanding of modern cloud data architectureStrong communication and problem-solving skillsNice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with Power BI or similar BI toolsFamiliarity with modern data architecture patterns (Medallion, Data Vault, etc.)Azure certifications or DevOps experiencePerks & Benefits: 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card depositIf you are interested in learning more about the Data Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
