This position will be based at the Laredo, TX location.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate and monitor daily dispatch activities for inbound and outbound shipments\nCommunicate shipment status updates to internal teams, carriers, and customers\nSchedule, assign, and track drivers and equipment to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries\nReview customer requests and service requirements and allocate resources accordingly\nPrepare and update dispatch records in computerized systems including logs, delivery tickets, orders, and tracking tools\nEnsure all shipments comply with established procedures, regulations, and safety standards\nMaintain visibility on freight movements and proactively address delays, exceptions, and service issues\nCollaborate with warehouse teams to ensure shipments are prepared and staged for dispatch\nSupport inventory accuracy by ensuring correct documentation and timely system updates\nUtilize radio, phone, and digital communication systems to relay instructions to drivers\nMay assist with customer service inquiries related to shipment status and troubleshooting\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nSkills / Requirements:\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nDispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations experience (minimum 2 years preferred)\nFamiliarity with freight forwarding, warehouse operations, or trucking industry preferred\nProficient in computer systems, data entry, and shipment tracking tools\nStrong attention to detail and follow-up skills\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment\nAble to sit, stand, and use communication equipment for extended periods\n\nPay Range: $18.00/hr. in accordance with the CBA\n\nBenefits (All Non-Union Employees)\nCompensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.\n401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.\nStock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.\nMedical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.\nVision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.\nDental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.\nPaid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.\n\nWhy Join DHL Global Forwarding?\nAt DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees’ growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
