Roadside Assistance Agent

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Roadside Assistance Agent to provide prompt support to motorists in need. This role involves responding to roadside emergencies, performing vehicle repairs, and ensuring customer safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues efficiently. Duties Respond quickly to roadside assistance calls, providing support for vehicle breakdowns, flat tires, dead batteries, and other emergencies Perform basic vehicle repairs such as changing tires, jump-starting batteries, and replacing faulty parts using hand tools and power tools Conduct minor vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid checks and replacements Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues within vehicles Ensure safety protocols are followed during roadside interventions to protect both customers and team members Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each assistance call Keep work area organized and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition for future use Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters Ability to work independently in various outdoor conditions and respond swiftly to emergency calls Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks required for roadside repairs Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor during customer interactions This role is vital in ensuring motorists receive timely assistance while maintaining safety standards.
