Technology is just our tool.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will work in a collaborative environment where you will play a key role in configuring, maintaining, supporting, upgrading, and patching software components and cloud services. You will also research and do proof-of-concepts on new technologies to improve our ability to support RedMane’s clients. This support will include both on-premise and cloud environments. We are seeking to engage your inquisitive nature and inclination to learn.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS and their services, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS architectures as well as a familiarity with DevOps.\n\nKnowledge of IT Operations best practices in a 24/7/365 always on service model.\n\nExperience designing, configuring, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\n\nKnowledge of network architectures including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, and others.\n\nKnowledge of networking and internet security architectures and protocols relevant to cloud environments.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nConstantly improving skills set and sharing new knowledge with others on the team.\n\nParticipate in the daily team stand-ups.\n\nInstall, support and upgrade software components.\n\nNew product research and completing proof-of-concepts on how it can improve our ability to support RedMane clients.\n\nSupport Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tool sets such as Azure DevOps and GITHub.\n\nComplete level 2 and level 3 support tickets.\n\nAnalyze issues and determine root cause along with completing solutions to resolve.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors or master’s degree in computer science or related field preferred\n\nMust have an interest in and willingness to learn diverse technologies\n\nUnderstanding of computer virtualization, networking fundamentals, scripting and automation.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAll professionals at RedMane are expected to possess these skills:\n\nA strong ethical foundation, capable of thriving in an environment and culture where honesty, integrity, and accountability are core values.\n\nA collaborative spirit, a team orientation, and a willingness and desire to contribute to the success of others.\n\nWe Offer You\n\nRedMane has an environment that offers challenging and interesting work.
