The Project Engineer will support project lifecycle activitiesfeasibility, design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeoutwhile ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have strong project management skills and experience with capital projects involving boilers and compressors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead technical and logistical aspects of capital projects from planning through commissioning and closeout, ensuring project milestones, schedules and budgets are met.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, scopes of work, and risk registers; track progress and report status to stakeholders and management.\nCoordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors and internal teams to develop technical specifications, procurement packages and work scopes; review submittals and vendor documentation.\nPerform field inspections and site visits to monitor installation quality, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with drawings, codes and safety procedures.\nManage change control processes, evaluate requests for changes, and update schedules and budgets accordingly.\nSupport commissioning, start-up and performance testing of equipment including boilers and compressors; troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards; participate in safety planning and incident investigations as needed.\nPrepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports, meeting minutes, design records, as-built drawings and closeout packages.\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related discipline; equivalent work experience considered.\n3+ years experience in engineering or project engineering roles, preferably supporting capital projects in industrial, power or process environments.\nDemonstrated project management skills including schedule development, cost control, contract coordination and stakeholder communication.\nPractical experience with boilers and compressorsinstallation, commissioning, troubleshooting and performance testing.\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, OSHA).\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nProficiency with project management and engineering software (MS Project, Primavera, Excel, CAD) and experience preparing technical reports and documentation.\nProfessional certifications such as PMP or PE are a plus.\nWillingness to travel\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance- DAY 1\nPTO - sick days, 11 holidays, vacation\n401K Retirement Savings Plan with company match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nFlexible Spending accounts (commuter benefits, flexible spending accounts, health savings account)\n10% bonus\n\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
