This role will act as a business solutions architect bridging technical delivery to business operations and translating business needs into scalable automation and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers high-quality work product, and is passionate about leveraging modern AI and data tools to drive operational efficiency.\nKey Accountabilities Serve as a technical liaison between the data team and business units, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.\nDesign, develop, and deploy automation workflows and AI-powered tools that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.\nBuild and maintain data pipelines, queries, and analytical products using Snowflake and Databricks.\nLeverage Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver production-quality solutions.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact automation opportunities and prioritize development efforts.\nEnsure all solutions adhere to organizational data architectural standards, governance policies, and security requirements.\nDevelop documentation, training materials, and user guides to enable business unit adoption of new tools.\nParticipate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitor and optimize deployed solutions for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.\nEssential Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of experience in a technical role involving software development, data engineering, or automation.\nProficiency in Python and SQL with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code.\nHands-on experience with Snowflake (querying, data modeling, performance optimization).\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code or similar LLM-based coding assistants.\nModerate understanding of data architecture principles including data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, data governance, and lakehouse architecture.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment.\nDesirable Criteria Experience in the energy or oil & gas industry.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software development best practices.\nExperience building internal tools, dashboards, or self-service analytics platforms.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.\nExperience with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or deploying LLM-based applications.\nExposure to data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Databricks Workflows).\nCompensation & Benefits How much do we pay (Base)? $128,000-$151,000\nNote that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.\nWe offer a reward and wellbeing package designed to support your life both inside and outside of work.
