EEO\n\nSUMMARY\nThe Engineering Technician will be in charge of independently producing engineering design plans for public works project and land development, utilizing AutoCAD software. They will be responsible for working with an engineering design team from initial concepts to final plan production. They will also draft various sketches, plans, and exhibits using CAD.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical\nCarries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.\nDrafting grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nProficient in AutoCAD Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks.\nPreparing drawings per company and public agency CAD standards and project-dependent CAD specifications.\n\nEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE\n0-2 years of experience in a position requiring intensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D\nExperience drafting on-site and off-site improvement drawings for land development projects.\nGeneral knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc.\nExperience with BlueBeam a plus.\n\nSKILLS\nEmployee Self-Management Skills\nCollaboration: Effective working relationships with management, coworkers, subordinates and clients. Mutual respect.
