Assist in hiring process including sourcing.\nDevelop and maintain procedures for Safety compliance in accordance with the organization’s Safety Handbook, applicable rules & regulations, industry standards, etc.\nProvide input to profitability of pre-engineered and fire extinguisher business on various financial statements, analysis of market conditions, billing rates, costs, trends, etc.\nCoordinate support sales personnel to further grow the pre-engineered and fire extinguisher business lines.\nUtilize accounting software (Timberline) for assistance with (or general knowledge of) billing, tracking costs, etc.\nAssist with general marketing activities and promotions of the organization.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nThe qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.\n\nEducation, Training, Certifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent, required.\n\nExperience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:\n\n5 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Extinguisher and Pre-Engineered systems.\nNICET Certification, Special Hazards Systems, preferred\n\nCommunication Skills:\n\nMust have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.\n\nSystems and Software Skills:\n\n5 years of professional computer skills (Microsoft suite)\n3 years technical writing and training experience\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.\nMust be able to comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.\nMust be able to travel 90% of the time, locally.\n\nPHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, ascend and descend step stools, ladders and stairs, kneel, lift 50lbs, sit, stoop, twist, and work at heights.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nEmployees will regularly be required to work outside, and be exposed to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards and noise.
