We take great pride in our people and believe they are our greatest asset.\r\nAffordable Medical, Pharmacy, and Dental\r\nEmployee Wellness Plan\r\nLife and Disability Insurance\r\n401k Profit Trust Plan\r\nPTO\r\nGrowth Opportunities\r\nCompetitive Pay\r\nCompany Holidays\r\nShift differential's\r\n2nd Shift - 6% added to hourly wage\r\n3rd Shift - 8 % added to hourly wage\r\nWhat will you do?\r\nIn this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating CNC Milling Machines.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nSet up and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, and live tooling.\r\nOptimize set-up times, maximize machine utilization\r\nAbility to run CNC vertical mills/robo drills\r\nUnderstand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructions\r\nExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\r\nTroubleshoot programs and make adjustments when needed\r\nSetup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with a high degree of precision\r\nFollow the in-process part inspection process, and notify the Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.\r\nCommunicate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.\r\nWork safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.\r\nDocument all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shifts\r\nCheck and perform preventive maintenance daily\r\nSchedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, {3:00 PM - 11:00 PM}.\r\nWhat are we looking for?\r\nWe're looking for engaged individuals who are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning, and enjoy working with others.\r\nKey Competencies\r\nKnowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gauges\r\nProficient math skills\r\nAbility to document machining procedures\r\nKnowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling\r\nExperience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferred\r\nSimple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English\r\nPhysically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components\r\nWork scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies\r\nAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment\r\nConsistently stand for an entire shift\r\nStrong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge\r\nWillingness to be trained with a desire to learn\r\nAbility to work in a team setting\r\nGreat work ethic, reliable, positive attitude\r\nTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company's Arlington, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
