Sprocket has created an offensive security platform to support our continuous penetration testing mission. The primary goal of this position is to maintain, secure, and assist with deploying the infrastructure associated with this platform.\nResponsibilities:\nHelp design, implement and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in AWS.\nBasic systems administration tasks in cloud and potentially on-prem environments, with responsibilities growing as skills improve.\nBasic administration of cloud environments, including IAM responsibilities, monitoring alerts, investigating/triaging issues, managing server hardening processes, and so on.\nHelp manage and maintain CICD pipelines in Gitlab, ensuring full end-to-end deployments are successful, timely, and efficient.\nHelp manage, maintain, and improve Infrastructure-as-Code environments using Terraform.\nConduct research and apply out-of-the-box-thinking into new and novel ways to solve weird problems.\nImplement and maintain infrastructure logging, security controls, and system health.\nAdminister Linux-based systems, addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring system stability.\nContribute to the standardization, documentation, and maintainability of our AWS infrastructure environment.\nCollaborate with software engineers to enhance the deployment process of company applications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams across the business, including Software Engineering, Service Delivery, and IT.\nMake a meaningful impact on our security posture by participating in security configurations.\nRespond to infrastructure-related incidents.\nCreate and maintain documentation for system configurations and DevOps practices.\nQualifications:\nMinimum:\nExperience with AWS.\nFamiliarity with Terraform.\nExperience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with administrating source control platforms.\nLinux System Administration experience.\nBasic programming experience in Python.\nExperience with Bash scripting.\nStrong familiarity with Git and source control practices.\nPreferred:\nFamiliarity with other DevOps frameworks such as Ansible, Packer, Docker and CloudFormation.\nExperience as an AWS administrator.\nExperience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.\nInvolvement in security configurations.\nExperience participating in code reviews.\nEnjoys the innovation, thrills, and speed of a growing start-up.\nPrevious experience in a small and agile Development organization.\nCybersecurity experience.\nBenefits:\nUnlimited and mandatory PTO for healthy work/life balance.\nCompany matched 401k (immediate eligibility, no one should have to wait to start saving).\n75% company contribution for health insurance for employees and 50% for dependants.\n100% company contribution for dental and vision.\nWork whatever schedule works best for you.
