About AcademyAcademy is a media company running 50+ YouTube channels in business, tech, finance, eCommerce, websites, AI, real estate and other niches. We build “content machines” - high-quality, searchable education videos designed to rank, convert, and compound for years.We are hiring on-camera YouTube Hosts to be the face of our niche channels. You focus on scripting and filming the best educational videos on camera. We handle the rest: training, ideation support, video editing, thumbnails, channel management, publishing, etc.This is a remote, outcome-based role. No commute needed unless you're local and you want to use our studio to film content.The RoleYou will research, script and film educational YouTube videos using our processes and systems. Your job is to make the content feel clear, engaging, and valuable - even if the topic is new, anyone can create valuable educational content with a bit of research and effort.We're looking for hustlers who can teach, not just talk. If you can take a complicated topic and make it simple, entertaining, and relatable, you'll do well here.If you’ve been looking for a role where you can get paid to create content on YouTube, sharpen your skills in front of the camera fast, work with a high-performing media team, and build your online presence, this is it.What You’ll OwnScriptwriting for educational YouTube videos (typically 8 to 15 minutes long)Deliver clean, confident on-camera performance for long-form YouTube videosCollaborate with our producers to improve hooks, clarity, pacing, and overall deliveryHit deadlines consistently and follow a repeatable filming SOPResponsibilitiesFilm 2-10 videos per week (more available for top performers)Follow our research and scripting framework (we provide structure, not scripts)Record A-roll (talking head) and create simple screen recordings when neededMaintain high-quality audio, lighting, and framing standardsDeliver videos that are clear, engaging, and retention-friendlyParticipate in a short OWVI (one-way video interview) and audition process before final selectionRequirements (non-negotiable)High fluency in spoken English (clear, confident, easy to understand) - U.S. or Canada (open to other parts of the world as long as you can speak English really well)Comfortable on camera and can hold attention without ramblingStrong writing ability with an educational toneReliable and consistent - you hit deadlines without being chasedFast learner - you can understand new topics and explain them simplyYou can self-manage in a remote, async environmentYou have a decent filming setup (or can invest in one - we can give you recommendations on equipment): good mic, good lighting, clean backgroundStrong PlusYou’ve hosted videos before (YouTube, TikTok, Reels, training content, presentations)You understand retention basics (hook, pacing, clarity, pattern interrupts)You can talk about business, tech, or other related topics mentioned above naturallyWhat Success Looks LikeFirst 2 videos delivered fast, with clean audio and strong on-camera presenceYou get faster each week without quality droppingThe team gives you notes once, and you apply them immediatelyYou become a reliable creator we can scale output withYour videos consistently meet quality standards and viewer clarity expectationsCompensationPaid per completed video (rate based on experience, quality, and channel you film for)Consistent volume available for top performersPerformance-based bonuses as you ramp up (if your video gets over a certain amount of views)LocationRemote.
