Finance & Accounting Intern - Summer 2026

Description: Summary: The position of Finance Intern is responsible for providing support to the Finance department. This position will assist with business needs related to finance and accounting which may involve interaction and collaboration across many departments within Stellar. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance and accounting while contributing to important projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possess strong analytical skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development of financial models and tools Assist in cleansing and validating financial data for reporting and system integration Support the mapping of financial data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform Review, organize, and format Excel spreadsheets for seamless import into the ERP system. Help the accounting team with activities including AR, AP, Cash, Reconciliations, etc. Support the finance team with forecasting Present research, findings and analysis to leadership Provide administrative support to the department as needed Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives Other duties may be assigned Competencies: Strong analytical and quantitative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Eager to take on new challenges in a constantly changing environment Education and/or Experience: Currently an enrolled undergraduate student studying finance or accounting Stellar Industries, Inc. offers a paid internship.
