This role supports production operations by packing bottles, performing visual inspections, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and palletizing finished product for shipment. The Packer ensures all work is performed in compliance with FDA regulations, company quality standards, and safety requirements.\n\n*Duties & Responsibilities*\n\n· Pack finished bottles into cartons according to established packaging specifications and production schedules.\n\n· Perform visual inspection of bottles, labels, caps, and lot codes to ensure product quality and compliance with FDA and company standards.\n\n· Identify and remove defective or non-conforming products and notify supervision or Quality as required.\n\n· Assemble boxes and pack finished cartons onto skids/pallets in preparation for shipment.\n\n· Stack and wrap skids in accordance with company procedures; regularly handle, stack and lift boxes weighing up to 36 pounds.\n\n· Maintain accurate counts and documentation as required for batch records and production reporting.\n\n· Clean and sanitize packaging areas, including floors, equipment surfaces, and workstations, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).\n\n· Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\n· Support line changeovers and assist with other packaging line tasks as assigned.\n\n· Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment at all times.\n\n· Occasionally use electric pallet jack to move product from line.\n\n*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*\n\n· Ability to read and follow written instructions, batch records, and safety guidelines.\n\n· Basic math skills to count and verify quantities.\n\n· Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n· High school diploma or GED preferred.\n\n· Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred\n\n*Working Condition*\n\nThis position requires the ability to stand for seven (7) hours or more throughout the shift and perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 36 pounds on a regular basis. The role involves repetitive hand and arm movements, including grasping, reaching, stacking, bending, stooping, and twisting. Work is performed in an FDA-regulated chemical manufacturing and packaging environment with exposure to packaging machinery noise, chemical odors, and cleaning agents. Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include safety glasses, gloves, hairnets, beard nets, and protective garments.
