Job Description OverviewWe are currently hiring for multiple Metal Fabrication roles to join our growing team in Morton, IL. If you have experience working with metal and take pride in precision and quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you.Our fast-paced production environment offers opportunities to work with a variety of equipment and processes. We are seeking candidates for the following roles: Welders, Grinders, CNC Operators, Laser Operators, and Painters.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specificationsSet up and operate metal fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, welders, plasma cutters, grinders, and spot weldersMeasure, cut, and shape materials to precise specificationsAssemble metal components using welding and other fastening techniquesInspect finished products to ensure quality standards and accuracyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety guidelinesWork collaboratively with team members to improve processes and production efficiencyAssist with training and mentoring less experienced team members as neededQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication or a related fieldAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsWorking knowledge of welding methods and fabrication toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentGood communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitudeHigh school diploma or equivalent required; trade certifications are a plusYou should be proficient in:Troubleshooting SkillsCNC ProgrammingTape Measure ReadingBlueprint ReadingMachines & technologies you'll use:MIG WelderManual GrinderCNC Laser CutterCNC WaterjetPress Brake
