Services include: paintless dent repair; paint touch up; headlight restoration; and repairs to wheels, windshields, and interiors.Position Summary:The Auto Body Paint & Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing and painting automotive cosmetic damage in both solvent and water-based base-coat/clear-coat systems. They will also be responsible for painting surfaces of wheels through spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques. Our Paint/ Wheel Technicians receive all the tools and supplies needed for the job. This person will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a weekly sales route in their territory to maximize profits. You will be responsible for managing inventory, audits, and accurate logs of sales stops.Duties Critical to Success:Maintain business relationships to increase our clients’ profitsMaintain excellent customer relationships to ensure longevity of accounts/businessDrive our company van to dealerships and fleet operations in your metro areaWalk and write up car lots for customer approvalInspect vehicle body surface and wheels to be painted for repair, prepping and/or buffing defectsMix specific colors using standard formulas or color chartsPerform paint repairs and refinishing to current company standards using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniquesSand, mask, blend and polish finish. Apply or retouch paint as necessaryWork with accounts/or sales managers on a regular basis to increase quality of service to accountService retail customers when necessaryThis role will report to assigned routes and establish accounts daily to service all repairs in a timely mannerJob Requirements:Minimum of 1-2 years of automotive paint experience with wheel repair experience being a bonusHigh School Diploma or equivalent21 years of age with a valid Driver’s licenseVision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusSales and customer service experienceDetermination to succeedProfessional demeanor and appearanceGeneral computer skillsSome experience with route sales preferredWork in all elements of weatherExcellent communication skills, self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to work independentlyRegularly required to stand and walk.
