We are at the forefront of New England’s ongoing transition to clean energy.\n\nDevelop and verify study models based on user specified input and project selection for use by TOs/GOs, various ISO-NE teams and regional/inter-regional users. Technical gate-keeping and change management function for control of the network model basecase including checking-in and verifying project files as submitted by ISO-NE staff, Transmission Owners (TO) and Generator Owners (GO).\n\nDevelop, organize and manage generation and transmission expansion projects utilizing enterprise modeling & model management software. Perform periodic and yearly review of ISO Business Process\nSoftware Development, Testing and Support\n\nDevelop, support and maintain auxiliary software required to support modeling activities of the MAS team working with the IT SDLC process.\nWork with software vendors to develop, test and manage versions of modeling software for use by ISO-NE and its TOs. (PSS/E, MOD, MOD File Builder, ASPEN)\nManage & provide support for maintenance & upgrades to Model on Demand servers.\nWhat we are looking for\n\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Power System Engineering. Master’s degree in electrical engineering or Power System Engineering preferred.\nWorking knowledge and experience with PSS/E and other power system analysis tools preferred\nProven analytical skills\nAbility to work well in a team well and communicate effectively, verbally and written\nPrevious direct modeling experience preferred\nThe expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year.
